However, I must add that back in the 1990's a daylily grower and retail/wholesale seller told me, "I have my daylilies grown in a south American country since the people work for almost no money... they are shipped to me through Florida". Well as it turns out this grower was having his plants grown in a country that had plants that carried the disease that created daylily rust. And there was no inspection of the plants he was importing. Know your retailer when you purchase daylilies is the best advice I can give anyone.
